Our goal is to provide a space for young entrepreneurs and innovators to come and turn ideas into reality. A major part of that process is creating prototypes, improving your product, and producing a finished product. Traditionally, an innovator would be out thousands of dollars to pay a company to create their prototype or small production batch, before they are even sure if their product is going to work. That is not the case any more.

Here at Buchta Tech, we provide a state of the art prototyping room outfitted with a MakerBot Method 3D printer, and a Universal Laser Systems 35 Watt laser.

Our laser is Capable of cutting or etching wood, leather, plastics, acrylic, glass, metal, etc.

Currently our MakerBot 3D printer runs PLA, or Poly Lactic Acid, a fairly strong, yet light and cheap plastic perfect for making initial prototypes.

Our makerspace is a full workshop that currently includes basic power tools, a table saw, a mitre saw, drill press and band saw.

In the near future we will be adding multiple CNC machines including mills, lathes and routers.
